Our Story

Mission

Lomax Temple AME Zion Church is committed to making liberated disciples of Jesus Christ through Christian Education.

Motto

We are "Changed People Changing the World" through Stewardship, Outreach, Worship, Evangelism and Discipleship (SOWED)

About Us

Our church believes that salvation of the soul is not divorced from the necessity of salvation of community, economy, and political conditions that affect the total person. We embrace a holistic approach to ministry and accept the responsibility as those who have been changed by Christ, to become catalyst for change. God doesn’t change situations, but God changes people and people change their own situations. God is using this fellowship to bring change to where it is needed.
